I AM Manufacturing 2.0 works like this....
- Everyone starts at Level 1 and matches with an employer during Manufacturing Career Exploration;
- Some students graduate at Level 1 while others continue to Level 2;
- During Level 2, students work part time in addition to attending classes to earn the Advanced Manufacturing Pre-Apprentice certification;
- Graduates of Level 2 go to work full time at their matched employer or....
- Potential machinists continue to work part time while earning the CNC Pre-Apprentice certification in Level 3 training.
Class is Monday - Friday from 9:30 - 3. Part - time work is in additon to class time.

Level 1: Weeks 1 - 3
Graduates are placed in entry level jobs.
Learn what advanced and modern manufacturing is all about. Learn soft skills that all occupations respect, and review Shop Math needed in manufacturing.
You'll earn a incentive for attending class and earn Badges in Shop Math, Basic Shop Safety, and I Am Job Ready!
Decide if you want to go on to Level 2 or graduate and start working full time.
Level 2: Weeks 4 - 10
Graduates are placed in Registered Apprenticeships across the industry.
Master the skills needed by your matched employer. Earn certificates in Shop Math 2, Principles of Quality, Lean Practices, Precision Measurement, Print Reading and GD&T. Plus OSHA 10 and GHS AND 3 college credit recommendations.
You'll earn a larger incentive for attending class and receive the Advanced and Modern Manufacturing Pre-Apprentice (AMMPA) Certificate. Some students will work part time at their matched employer in addition to attending class.
Level 3: Weeks 11 - 17
Graduates are placed in Registered CNC Apprenticeships
You'll learn set up and basic programming. You'll use simulators that match over 20 of the most common controllers in RI. We're even adding Swiss. You'll complete the prestigious CNC Pre-Apprentice program, making you an amazingly valuable employee.
You'll be working part-time for your employer while you're in class. That means you'll earn an incentive for attending class and a pay check.
We've got a 95% placement rate.
