Pre-requisites:

You must pass a math test and have basic computer skills to participate in the Pre-Apprentice program.  If you need to polish you math skills, you can take our Math 1 and Math 2 pre-requisite classes.  You can also sit in on computer basics clinics.

This program is right for you if you need extra attention on the basics of math and print reading - the foundations of becoming a solid machinist! 

The ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving, have critical thinking skills, enjoy working as part of a team, be able to handle quotas and deadlines, enjoy learning new things, and be able to work on the manufacturing floor.

The program also provides FREE job placement assistance to help you land a job once your training is over.  And you'll learn the key soft skills that you need for success in today's manufacturing.

• Shop Math Intensive Intro to Manufacturing and CNC Machining day program lasts 18 weeks.  During 2014 it will be offered in January, May, July, and October.
• Shop Math Intensive Intro to Manufacturing and CNC Machining night program lasts 25 weeks and will be offered in March, May and October.
